The following Australian fast food chains accept American Express cards. Any known surcharges and/or minimum purchase amounts are indicated next to the merchant.
- Baskin Robbins (some stores)
- Domino’s (can be used in most stores, but can also be used to place online orders if your local store doesn’t accept it directly)
- Eagle Boys (some stores)
- Grill’d (most stores)
- KFC
- McDonald’s
- Nando’s (AX not accepted in some franchise-owned stores)
- Pizza Capers
- Pizza Hut (can be used in most stores, but can also be used to place online orders if your local store doesn’t accept it directly)
- Red Rooster ($10 minimum in company stores, some independent stores have no minimum)
- Subway (most stores – AX acceptance and minimum purchase amounts vary)
