Air New Zealand has teamed up with top adventurer Bear Grylls to create a new on board safety video following the success of previous videos including the most recent, the Hobbit.
The video was filmed late last year near Fiordland on the Routeburn track.  And no Bear Grylls video would be complete without him eating something unusual – this time a glow worm.
Air New Zealand are understandably happy with the result as Mike Todd, chief marketing and customer officer for Air NZ said:  “Bear was the ideal partner to help us bring to life important on-board safety messages in a unique and compelling way while at the same time demonstrating the best of what New Zealand has to offer.”
The launch of a video coincides with a competition where people who view the video online can win a trip for two to New Zealand by counting how many times the Moa appears before his character is revealed.
