The first level of status gained at 300 status credits in one Membership year. In Qantas this means:

Priority telephone service

Access a priority service in Australia – find the number on the back of your Qantas card.

Complimentary Advance Seat Selection with preferential seating

You can select your seat* from reserved zones within your booked cabin according to your Frequent Flyer status. Advance Seat Selection is at all times subject to availability of requested seats.
Seat selection is complimentary on Qantas operated domestic flights (excluding Qantas Link) and for Silver Frequent Flyers on Qantas operated international flights, with a QF flight number on your ticket.

Preferred seating

When you make a booking in Premium Economy, Business or First, your seat will be allocated at the time of booking based on your seat preference in your Qantas Frequent Flyer profile. You can make changes to your seat using Advance Seat Selection.
If you make a booking in Economy, your seat preference will be allocated at the time of Check-in from remaining available seats unless you have already selected a seat using Advance Seat Selection or purchased an Exit Row Seat.
Your Seat Preference is stored in your Qantas Frequent Flyer profile.

Preferential access to selected Qantas Classic Award seats

Qantas provides preferential access, when available, to selected Qantas Classic Award seats to Silver, Gold and Platinum Frequent Flyers. On selected flights, preferential access for Gold and Platinum members may be above the access available to Silver and Bronze members^.
